- SOLD to L.H.: Nice condition WWII Finnish Model 1939 Mosin Nagant rifle in 7.62 x 54r caliber from the final “Sneak” arsenal production in 1968. Rifle was re-arsenalized by Finland on an antique (pre-1899) hexagonal receiver from the Sestroretsk Arsenal. Receiver tang is internally dated “96” for 1896. Serial # 31083X.
The numerous models and variations of Mosin rifles can be overwhelming tothe new collector. Many times they are mislabeled by dealers, pawn shops, andindividuals who are not familiar with them. When rarity can range from hundreds ofpieces made to millions and value can range from less than $100 to over $500 properidentification is extremely important.
